Guinea's glam garments for this party season!

It's never too early to get yourself organised for the party season - it is fast approaching and you don't want to be having that last minute ordeal of ‘I have nothing to wear!’ Or the even more dreaded - ‘I thought it would fit!’
And for that reason, I do recommend trying on outfits which haven't been worn in a while, in advance, to avoid any nasty surprises - even though I know it can be incredibly daunting!
Now, what I tend to do around this time of year, is get my diary out and see what is already penned in. There are obviously going to be those last minute invites, but for those evenings you know you have definite plans; such as family gatherings, drinks parties, or work functions to attend, you don't want to be getting ready in a rush, when you could have your outfit ready to go.
So if you are in need of some inspiration, here at Guinea we have taken some of our favourite pieces and styled them for the festive season.
Party outfit inspo - where we go!
Drinks Party: Claudia Blouse
Our first party outfit inspo is one which will look tremendously glam without appearing to try too hard. And don't we all want to be effortlessly glam!
So for this look we styled around our Claudia blouse, with its fun, flirty frill collar, which we absolutely adore here at Guinea HQ. Not only is it fabulous in the winter, adding some much needed colour, but it is a wonderful piece to have in your wardrobe all year round.
We have paired it with these fabulous pink trousers by Boden, but don't feel limited to trousers, a skirt would look equally as fab for the party season too!

Dinner Party: Phoebe Dress & Isla Coat
We love our Phoebe dress because not only do we feel fabulous in this floaty, feminine dress, but it is also super comfortable and forgiving in style - which is what you may require after a sumptuous multi course meal!

You cannot do party outfit inspo without including a party outfit in which you can dance the night away!
Our Mayfair Jacket is ideal for popping on over your party dress or a statement jumpsuit such as this one by Phase Eight. Guinea's Mayfair jacket is made of a lovely soft wool, so it will give you that added warmth you require when travelling to and from the venue.

Party Time: Sophie Leopard Print Dress & Lucy Blue Abstract Print
You can never go wrong with a fabulous silky soft dress, which will sway and flow elegantly as you move, with a print which will flatter and draw attention away from any troublesome areas.
We have styled our Sophie maxi dress with gold accessories, but would look equally as stunning with black or brown, or even a shockingly bright colour if you are feeling bold.
Our knee-length Lucy dress is in an amazing abstract print, in glorious shades of blue. This colour palette will go well with gold or silver jewellery and can easily withstand bright accessories. Here we have opted for classic black.
Outdoor Event: Oxford Coat
Our final outfit inspo, isn't so much party inspo, I know, I know, you are thinking, so why are we including it then, well you cannot escape some form of outdoor event around Christmas time. Whether it is taking the children, or grandchildren to see Christmas lights, having a girly day out at a Christmas Market, or even a winter race meet, you are still in need of a fabulous outfit.
Now, the Oxford Wool Coat is a personal fav of mine. I love the powder blue colour, the gold detailing on the collar and cuffs, and love that it has such clean lines.
I would team it with a knit dress like this Weekend Max Mara midi dress and knee high wedge boots - lets face it, it's all about keeping warm and stylish in the winter months. Pair it with tights, gloves and a fabulous hat and you'll be cosy and warm, whatever the occasion.
To turn this into an evening look, it is as simple as can be, by just swapping out a tote bag for a clutch.
